Instrumental and Vocal Lessons
My primary professional instrument is trombone, which I teach from the beginner to collegiate level.
 
I also teach beginner to early-advanced guitar, with an emphasis on acoustic techniques in many styles, including fingerstyle.

Lessons are available from beginner to high school level on:​

• Trumpet

• Euphonium/Baritone

• Tuba

• Flute

• Clarinet

• Saxophones

• Vocals (singing)

If you're looking for a piano, percussion or violin/cello teacher, I can provide basic instruction and then refer you to an expert when you reach the intermediate level.

For all lessons, in addition to fundamentals solo music and small ensembles, we can integrate music theory, composition/arranging, recording, or other music technology as desired!


Private Customized Music Classes
I also offer customized general music classes to individuals and small groups of students engaging in home-schooling or distance-learning. This is your chance to do exactly what you want to do, while still furthering your musical education in the right ways! Do you want to learn ukulele and do a lot of singing? How about learning music theory and composition through technology? Whatever your interests are – we can do that! Reach out and let's chat!


Cost
Zoom instrumental and vocal lessons are $25 per half-hour lesson, or $45 per hour (high school or collegiate students).
 
Zoom custom music classes start at $30 per half-hour, and $55 per hour. Costs may vary slightly with complexity and planning required, as well as number of students.

Payments can be via PayPal or check, generally on a monthly basis, but other plans are available, as is auto-billing.

In-person lessons and classes are available at your location within 15 miles of Putney, or further on a case-by-case basis, contact me for more details. Costs may vary depending on distance traveled, but start at $40 per 45-min lesson or $50 per hour.
