This page contains all the currently-published results from Miles and Mountains Athletes.
I'm still finishing tagging, but soon they'll be fully sortable, searchable and filterable. Want to see just ultramarathon finishes that resulted in a PR? Go for it!
Believe it or not, we're still missing a lot, but we'll be adding them over time.
An important philosophical view of mine is celebrating ALL amazing accomplishments. That said, some people like to see the numbers, so feel free to click here to see total races, wins, podiums and PR's.

Alyssa A – JFK50, 2nd Master
Alyssa A ran her third JFK50, finishing 8th overall and 2nd master, a little faster than last year! This is one of the most storied and competitive 50mi races in the country, and the last two years Alyssa has finished both on the overall podium and as 2nd Master. What's next?!

Porter B – Skagit Valley Tulip Run 5K, Win
Porter B took the win at the Skagit Valley Tulip Run 5k! Hard to push your limit when there's nobody in front of you to chase — but great to take the W on a beautiful day. Big things ahead this season!

Alyssa A – JFK50, 2nd Master
Alyssa finished 7th overall female at JFK50, one of the most competitive 50-mile races in the country! She was also 2nd master behind an Olympian... Amazing race on a cold day – finishing 5 spots up from last year despite stiffer competition, with an amazing racing attitude!

Stephan F
Stephan ran his first ultra, just a few weeks after his first half-marathon, just a few days before his 51st birthday!

Andy W – Cloudland Canyon 50mi, Win, PR
WON the Cloudland Canyon 50mi in 7:57, the 3rd-fastest-time on the course. A PR by almost an hour and a half!

Alyssa A – Clarence DeMar, State Record
Alyssa A pushed through to break the state single-age marathon record for 48 year olds by... THIRTY MINUTES in her 3rd place finish at the Clarence DeMar Marathon. Still a code to be cracked at the marathon, but when it happens... watch out!!

Laura G – Bayshore Half Marathon, PR, 2nd AG
Laura G. just dropped a 3.5-minute half-marathon PR! And it happened not just because she's been training effectively, but because she trusted her body, rather than her watch. The early splits looked a little fast — she'd never seen a sub-7 split in ANY race, and that could've rattled her.But not this time. She stayed present, trusted her training, and listened to her body. She didn't just run fast — she ran smarter than ever.Six sub-7 miles in one race, after never cracking that barrier before? That's next-level confidence! She crossed the line with a big PR — and 2nd in her age group. Huge congrats Laura!

Chris J – NYC Marathon, PR
Chris ran an amazing 3:06 at the 2025 NYC Marathon, a six-minute PR!Balancing marathon training with the long hours of residency—and then carrying that same discipline into his first months as an attending pediatric brain-tumor doctor—is no small feat.He was recognized by NYRR and Citizens Bank as a Miles That Matter honoree, running for Ronald McDonald House New York and celebrating 20 years since his own leukemia diagnosis.I've worked with Chris for four years now and am continually inspired by his commitment! (Photo not from NYC).

Marisa P – Bigfoot 200, 4th F

Brian D – Hyner Trail Challenge 50K
Brian D had an awesome race at the Hyner Trail Challenge 50k, a mountainous course with over 6400ft of climbing. Despite temps over 80º, he nailed fueling/hydration, finished sub-6, and most importantly, had a ton of fun!

Maggie J – Lake Effect Half Marathon, PR
Maggie J leapt out of her comfort zone and RACED a half marathon! What an incredible race in blinding snow for a HUGE PR!

Robin K – Pikes Peak Ascent
After tough luck her first two attempts, Robin slayed the beast at the Pikes Peak Ascent! So amazing!

Jennifer M – West Highland Way 100, 10th F, PR
Nine months ago, Jennifer M ran her first 100-mile ultramarathon.Last week, she crushed her second—at the West Highland Way 100—finishing as the 10th woman, and TEN HOURS faster than her first one!Four years ago, she told me her dream was to run a race on the Superior Hiking Trail, but that it seemed out of reach. She made that dream happen last year, after dropping an hour from her marathon PR. Now she's cut a further ten hours off that 100mi time!Dreams that once felt out of reach may not be—with the right emphasis on long-term fitness growth. What's next?!

Stacey B – Rockfest Half Marathon
Stacey crushed the Rockfest Half Marathon, running a stellar race!

Bill J – 47km Race, 6th M
Bill crushed his 47km race, having a blast despite the insane weather, and running so strong to finish 6th!

Heather – Jingle Bell 5k, Win
Won the Jingle Bell 5k in 18:27!

Bill J – 5k PR race, PR
Over the last two months, Bill J raced five 5K races across the UK Parkrun circuit, and the arc tells a great story about what it actually looks like to learn how to race. Two PRs (the most recent being a 20-second one!), three near-misses, and things learned in between. Along the way: Figuring out he needed to start at the front instead of fighting through traffic, learning to hit the opening mile fast without blowing up, drafting off others to break the wind, and ignoring his watch to race by feel and tactics.See a PR doesn't necessarily signify a sudden jump in fitness. Races... just vary. Conditions, sleep, life, the field around you — all of it shifts day to day. Learning to race by feel is what lets you make the most of whatever a given day hands you. And the more chances you take, the more often the stars align. The PRs are great, but the real win is watching a runner turn into a racer!

Caroline K – Boston Marathon, PR, BQ
Caroline K dropped a big PR at the Boston Marathon – despite some adversity – showing insane mental toughness! She felt strong on the hills and ran an epic negative split, finishing with an amazing kick — passing SEVEN THOUSAND people along the way. 🤯 The best part is she was able to run the race alongside her older brother. She's knocking on the door of sub-3 now!

Pam – Win, State Record, 1st AG
Won her age group, and set a state age record with a 1:39 half marathon!

Craig L – Philadelphia Half Marathon
Craig came SO close to breaking a big goal at the Philadelphia Half Marathon - just 20sec away on a frigid day, and with 10k other people getting in the way. Can't wait for the next one!

Bill J – South Downs Way 50k, Sub-24, PR
From three-mile struggles to triple digits!Bill J started when just staying healthy through a short run was the goal.In the years since, he's chipped away at PRs and lifetime distance milestones—from 5Ks to 50Ks, marathons to 100Ks.And a few weeks ago, he nailed the big one:A sub-24-hour finish at the South Downs Way 100-miler—and the coveted One Day buckle!Proof that with consistent growth, smart training, and a steady dose of self-belief, even the biggest goals can come into reach!
