Private Music Instruction
Learn to play an instrument, advance your skills, prepare for an audition or supplement your in-school music instruction. Learn about the music instruction I offer at the link below!
I grew up in New Hampshire, graduated from Plymouth State University in 2012, and taught K-5 Music at Bluff Elementary in Claremont until 2016. I started running around the time I started teaching, running my first marathon in 2013.
In 2016, I moved to Putney, Vermont to teach PK-8 Music, Band and Chorus at Putney Central School. Around the same time I began coaching other runners.
With the start of the Covid-19 Pandemic in Spring 2020, I felt the time was right to switch gears and focus full-time on Miles and Mountains Coaching. Since then I have helped support hundreds of runners in reaching their goals, finding balance in their lives and even setting new PR's in their 40's and 50's.
In recent years I have begun ski instructing part time during the winter, specializing in private lessons at Stratton Mountain Resort in Southern Vermont.
As a photographer I've toured the country in an effort to create captivating images of special places, but I also enjoy capturing the daily evolution of scenes nearby.
